I met Ms. Betty at a health fair where I was working and I asked her, if she would like to hear about the plan I was working with? She stated "no thank you, because you probably cannot help me anyway? replied I think I can...and she asked for my card and within a few days, she called me. We scheduled an appointment to meet. I learned her husband passed away from covid and she was barely making it financially and could no longer afford to pay for health insurance along with regular household bills. I helped her apply for Medical Assistance and she was approved. She now has a plan for no cost, her Part B premiums are paid and her rxs are the lowest they have ever been. She was so grateful for the help and tells everyone she meets if they need help to call "her agent".  

 Needed plenty of dental work and thought there was no help for them. I met with them, explained their benefits, located a dentist near their home and even scheduled the appointment. Within a few short months, they have the most beautiful smiles you ever did see!! I went by to see them and they were all smiles and gave me lots of hugs and thanks and I've been adopted as a daughter :)  

 I had a table set up in the front of a Pharmacy to discuss prescriptions and benefits for a Medicare Advantage plan. Women walked from the back of the store frustrated with the cost of Rxs as well as the premium of her plan. She sat down to complain. I told her how this Med Adv plan would help as she only had a high cost Rx plan but was taking mainly generic drugs. We discussed her options and switched her to a plan that cost less yet provided more. She kept her drs, but gained eyeglasses, dental, OTC and her Rxs for less copays. She was so thrilled she couldn't wait to tell her husband who was away on a trip. When he returned they call me to come assist him in doing the same.
